Missy
Missy is a 3 year old female Veiled Chameleon. She came to PNHS as an economic surrender, needing surgery for egg binding. She underwent surgery (complete spay & stuck egg removal) successfully at the end of October 2011 and has been recovering well. Immediately after surgery her colors perked up, showing off her beautiful yellows, greens and aquas.
Missy's coloration is currently being watched. She is in a special-needs horizontal habitat, since she nearly doubled in weight after surgery (her arm & leg strength needs to catch up to the rest of her.)She is eating extremely well.
Missy is very personable and will require a calm home. She does enjoy coming out and exploring (with supervision.) She loves to climb and does the happy chameleon "purr" when snuggling.
